Sam and Kellie are the proud owners of Whispery Pines Percherons, home to eight beautiful black Percheron geldings. Our focus is to bring our love of horses to the world by enabling people to experience our horses on a personal level. In doing so, we showcase the versatility, grace, and beauty of the Percheron breed.

Expositions and Showing
We travel to many different county and state fairs each year exhibiting all eight horses in halter, hitching, and obstacle classes.
Whispery Pines also showcases the six-horse hitch for many expositions. We are 6x Equine Affaire performers and clinicians and 3x Road to the Horse performers.
Costumed riding such as the characters Wonder Woman, Headless Horseman and the Skeleton Horse are crowd favorites at these events.
Carriage Rides
Transportation for special events such as weddings, parades, sleigh rides, funerals, cooperate parties and events, holiday rides and birthdays.
We have multiple carriages available upon request.
Our horses will make your occasion or event extra unique and special!
Educational Clinics and Draft Horse Driving Demos/Clinics
We offer many different clinics to educate people in draft horses. We offer basic draft horse care and maintenance, harnessing, driving, showmanship, halter and English and Western Riding.

Horse Logging
Whispery Pines specializes in horse logging. We work with private land owners in managing timber lands and marketing hardwood timber. In using the horses for work being done in a woods, this makes the process much lower impact and extremely eco-friendly. Here at Whispery Pines, we have been marketing and harvesting hardwood timber for 22 years. We would be glad to share our experience with you.
